Why Every Sound Love Wedding Includes Two Team Members

A wedding is really three events stacked into one day, and they often happen in three different spaces. One person can't run all of them well at the same time. So we never send one.

Every Sound Love wedding has a Lead DJ and a Wedding Operations Assistant. It's built into every package, not an upgrade.

Who does what

Your Lead DJ is the voice and the music: reading the room, hosting on the mic and keeping the night moving. The Wedding Operations Assistant handles everything that would otherwise pull the DJ away from that job. That means setup and teardown, moving ceremony gear, running cocktail hour music in a second space, and handling the small stuff as it comes up.

Where you'll feel it

  • Ceremony to cocktail hour: while one of us is cueing your processional, the other is finishing the reception setup. When the ceremony ends, music is already playing where your guests are headed.

  • Room flips: gear moves faster with four hands, so your timeline doesn't stall waiting on us.

  • Announcements: one of us can be lining people up for entrances while the other is on the mic.

  • The little things: a mic for a surprise toast, a chair in the way before the first dance, grandma needing a seat closer to the floor. Someone handles it, and your host never leaves the room.

The second person isn't a luxury. It's why the night never stalls.
